BIOGRAPHY

Nick Magnus started his musical career in 1976 with the cult symphonic rock ensemble, The Enid. At the end of that year, he and drummer Robbie Dobson left The Enid to spend two years with the progressive rock band, Autumn. On 15 February 1999, Autumn released a CD mini album of material originally recorded 23 years ago. Entitled 'Oceanworld', the album was greeted with critical enthusiasm.

1978 marked the beginning of Nick's accomplished 11-year working relationship, touring and recording with ex-Genesis guitarist, Steve Hackett. The band toured extensively in Europe, the UK and the US. Nick brings his keyboard talents to at least twelve of Hackett’s albums to date.

The 1990s saw major album chart successes for Nick’s co-productions of Project D's synthesiser albums. More recently, his internationally acclaimed series of 'Pan Pipe Moods' albums achieved platinum sales, the first reaching number two in the UK album charts. Other productions include two albums of 'Celtic Dreams' for Polygram and a dance remix of the theme music from the hit TV gameshow, 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?'. In summer of 2001, West-End audiences applauded Nick's new arrangements of classic Lennon and McCartney songs in the musical, 'All You Need is Love'.

Nick has released two previous solo albums of his own compositions: 'Straight On Till Morning' and 'Inhaling Green'.
